So I'd like to know what kind of competitions would you guys like to see.. any ideas? maybe something that will entice everyone.

But yeah, maybe something like "do your best quick MS Paint doodle" or "Haiku about [insert topic here]" or something? Ya know something relatively quick and something that everybody can do?

I think that's the direction BC was heading in anyway with 100 word story, 100 words is really short.

Maybe, but writing a whole story in just a hundred words is considerably harder than the examples I mentioned, at least it is for guys like me.
My main point is that it has to be simple, but not overly limiting like a hundred word story.

-the "most creative answer" contest (you ask a certain question and the most creative answer wins)
-the "image edit" contest (where you offer an image(s) and have the forum members edit it and the most awesome looking edit wins)
-the "create a joke" contest (where you give a certain subject and the forum members try to make a joke about it, and the best one wins)
that's all i can think of for now

Also perhaps an option for a prize for a future comp is to choose the comp theme?

hey guys. I had this idea that could help get some activity going on here, and I wanted to hear your opinion. it's like a competition, but it's kinda not. It's more like an easter egg hunt, but in the forum. Basically, the idea is that we admins ask a non-general knowledge question (example: i'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10, what number is it?), and we hide a clue that will lead to the answer somewhere in the forum, so that the forumgoers can go searching around for it and the first one to post the answer correctly wins. For the prize, I suppose a special star could be good. Anyway, would this be something that you guys would be interested in participating?
