Summary: Capcom has cut their original profits forecast by 50% after failed Mobile Market investment from Monster Hunter profits. Originally foretold to make 6.8 Billion Yen, is now cut to 3.3 billion Yen. Capcom speaks to attempt and find a more effective way of making games and is forced to take a loss of 5 Billion Yen as well for business structural improvement purposes to hopes to improve their current financial issues.

“Due to rapid changes taking place in the market for games, Capcom is building a sound base for earnings by reorganizing the product development framework and improving development processes. These are two core elements of the company’s operations.

The objective of these activities is to earn consistent earnings in each fiscal year. However, these initiatives have not yet started to produce benefits mainly in the Mobile Contents.”

Yeah.... I've heard about this before. Capcom is going down man, sad to see it, they need to get something done!

^Definitely. Hopefully this is the straw that makes them realize that their really questionable tactics (IE: On disc dlc, cancelling numerous Megaman games for seemingly no reason, focus on trying to be mainstream by copying other popular games) just plain DON'T WORK. I don't really want to see 'em go because they have a lot of really great franchises under their belts, and though their are plenty of companies who would probably take care of those same properties well it would be a shame to see such once great company fall into the realm of nothingness, essentially.
