which is the best "back in the day" game/game character out of these two.
For me it has to be Sonic, I started off playing sonic the hedgehog on the Sega Master System and I was hooked ever since, I did play the original Mario on the NES but sonic did it for me.

I was always more of a "Mario Guy", Super Mario Galaxy and 64 are still my favorite!
But the blue blur is purdy cool as well, he definitely has more personality compared to Mario and Sonic Adventure DX holds some fond memories and it's one of the first PC games that I owned! (Emerald Coast's theme is really nostalgic to me)

Mario for me, though Sonic Adventure 2 battle and CD are still some of my favourite games. I've 100%'d every 3D mario game so far with the exception of the Wii U one that I don't have, Mario 64 is probably my favourite, though I really like Sunshine and Galaxy 2 as well the classic 2D ones.
