Ok my first Tutorial for Mugen,
we start by creating an SFF file, for me I use Sodom (with Katana) ripped by Kong. Can be found at the Mugen Guild Database.
At first make sure you have an Palette applied on your Sprites (you can use Photoshop or other Programs to create those). Uses the Format by the Autor to make sure you get the right Coordinates.
Now put your first Sprite in into Fighter Factory (I use here Fighter Factory Ultimate, but you can also use Fighter Factory 3).
As first make sure you have an SFF file (to make sure you will get all animations in the right way) I use my old Characters as an Template:
Now open Fighter Factory an put in the Sprites to that SFF file:
Look for the Sprite Group 0,0
Adon is my new Template (you can also use KFM made by elecbyte for it).
Now look for your Sprite Files and put those into the SFF (and delete the old ones if you recreating an new SFF like me.)
But those in:
Now you see the Sprites aren't in the correct way, you need to put those at the X in Fighter Factory to make sure you this sprites at the right coordinates in Mugen.
Like this:
Now you can put in all Sprites in the correct way by using the Coordinates at the Screenshot (you could get others, because every character is standing different at the ground).
You just need to follow the old Sprites of KFM (or an other Character) to get the right groups of the Sprites. But use the same Coordinate (which you get while including the first Sprite) to get the right Coordinates.
Now you can use this SFF for mugen or shrink the Rest of the Transparent color (with Photoshop or something else, but make sure it has the same palette) and use the Sprites you putted it first as an placeholder.
