Been considering a new computer to call my own and spill soda on at 5 am in a sleep deprived rage. What CPU do all of you use for your day to day needs, be it gaming, art or what have you. Did you buy it, build it, does it run on a hamster based power source? Brag or bash your computer and let me (as well as everyone else) know how much it cost for you overall.

Mine is a Dell Intel Core i3 Windows 7 From personal experience it runs like a dream, don't really PC game but I heard most Windows 7 computer models run PC gaming well so take of it what you will. Also it was bought for maybe around $400? No building done, ain't nobody got time for that lmao

AMD 6300 FX Black edition, 3.6ghz hexacore(literally no idea what the black edition means). My GPU is a radeon 7850 and I have 8gb ram. It's primarily a gaming machine that I built myself about 18 months ago, cost me around £650 including peripherals (32 inch LCD monitor with wall mounting stuff and Razer Naga). In my opinion AMD CPUs give you more for your money, but if you want the best of the best then get an intel i7 or something.
